AsiaOne on air: Hectic weekend with 6 events to check out

W.T.M. Why This Matters
What to do, what to do this weekend, we hear you ask? Let our Party Girl guide you.

This weekend is hectic because there's so many parties going on.

So, we start tonight.

First, our funnyman Shaun T will be throwing his comedy chops at Back Benchers Cafe & Bar on Ann Siang Road from 8pm.

Then, over at Kilo Lounge on Tanjong Pagar Road, those into reggae and dancehall can rejoice as the godfather Johnny Osbourne will make his Singapore debut.

Doors open from 7pm.

Also, Skyline at Singapore Land Tower are hosting a sweet, sweet Shugar (as the night is called) party - an old school hip hop night.

Ladies who come in groups of three get a complimentary bottle of bubbly between 7-11pm.

And, Ce La Vi and Bacardi are holding Cuban nights from 6pm over Thursday and Friday.

Entry is $20 which can be spent on food and drinks.

On Saturday, catch French electronic duo AIR at the Esplanade Theatre from 8.30pm.

And end the weekend off on Sunday with Sting performing his '57th & 9th' tour (named after his album) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from 8pm.

If you don't know, now you know.

To catch Simi the Party Girl, listen to her on OneFM's #1 Breakfast Show with Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman on Thursday mornings.
