AsiaOne on air: Where to party this weekend

AsiaOne on air: Where to party this weekend

If you missed this Friday morning's The Party Girl segment on OneFM's breakfast show with Andre Hoeden and Part-time Pete, have no fear! You can still plan your weekend with a "listen back" right here on AsiaOne.

Here's something a little different for Singapore - on Saturday, Feb 28 afternoon, indulge in something local especially if you enjoy live music.

Called Lepark Sessions Vol. 1, live bands will showcase their talent on the rooftop of People's Park Complex in Chinatown from 3-6pm. You can find out more about the line-up here.

Feeling inspired after catching the live bands and think you can want to start your own troupe? Here's step one - attend a songwriting course.

There will be a Songwriter's Night also on Saturday, Feb 28 from 6pm at the Barber Shop by Timbre on Old Parliament Lane. It is a free event and there will be an open mic session as well. Try it out!

How about rounding off your weekend with a beach party this Sunday, Mar 1?

Azzura Beach Club is having an all-day party with foam and tons of colours to celebrate the Indian festival of Holi, which is kind of similar (in behaviour) to Songkran, the Thai water festival.

It will be an excuse to party on the beach while throwing coloured powder at random people without getting sued. Great way to make new friends.

If you don't know, now you know.

To catch the Party Girl, listen to her on OneFM on the breakfast show with Andre Hoeden and Part-time Pete.
