The Party Girl gets the weekend started early this week with a new time slot - being on a Thursday - on OneFM's morning show.
Last weekend's festival I went to was so 'off da hook', I literally cried with happiness to the amazing music. So, for those of you who missed it or want to reminisce, you can do so tomorrow night.
Pre-sale tickets at $30 (with a mini bottle of champagne) are available online and at Gem Bar only till tonight, then it's $40 on the door from 9pm, but that's if you can get in as there is limited entry.
You know how generally DJs hate getting song requests when they are trying to do their thing?
Well, now you get a chance to request whatever you like from the 1990s without annoying the DJ at a night called 'All Request Live'.
From 7pm on Friday, Guinness Book of World Records holder DJ Iceman will happily be taking requests at a place called Fresh Singapore located at Jalan Sultan.
Also on Friday from 7.30pm, Heineken is holding a Heineken Cities Festival at Chijmes for you to experience their limited city edition Heineken bottles.
Representing six cities namely Singapore, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mexico City, Seoul and Tokyo, the party will showcase what makes all these cities tick.
Expect live performances from Mariachi Nuevo Estilo - a Mariachi band from America's Got Talent Fame who are known for their hip-hop renditions - there will also be flamenco, Aztec and K-pop dancers, and DJ sets by award-winning Madrid DJ Cristian Verela who is Carl Cox's protege.
And, on Saturday from 3pm onwards, there will be a nine-hour free outdoor indie rock festival at Dunearn Road called TinHill Rockfest 2015. Featuring nine of the top Indie rock acts in Singapore, each band will play a 45-min set. And did I already mention it's all for free?
If you don't know, now you know.
To catch the Party Girl, listen to her on OneFM's #1 Breakfast Show with Andre Hoeden, Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman.
