AsiaOne on air: Where to party this weekend

AsiaOne on air: Where to party this weekend

Put aside the politics (even though it has cheekily influenced some parties) and let's get the party started on a Thursday night with the Party Girl's recommendations.

Tonight, if you're looking to vote for the party that's all about 'rock n roll', fast cars, motorbikes and Jaegermeisters, check out Crazy Elephant Bar in Clarke Quay where you can party on down with the band Dirty Dealers from 10pm.

Or, you can check out the Pigeon Election Party at Neon Pigeon in Keong Saik Road from 6pm where you can vote for your favourite cocktails that you can try for free.

But if you want none of that and just want to get jiggy with it, there are some Brazilian parties you can go to.

Brazil celebrated its National Day on Monday but the parties are still happening tonight.

From 8pm at Mariko's in Jiak Chuan Road, you can be as Brazilian as you like. First drink is on the house with the password Brazil.

And on Saturday, Lime House, which is next to Mariko's, is also having a Brazilian Day in Singapore where you get a welcome cocktail, take part in Samba and Capoeira workshops, and party to live music as well as dance performances for $33.

If not, it's $38 on the door.

Also, after this weekend, F1 season in Singapore starts and we are giving away tickets to the opening night of Podium Lounge at Ritz-Carlton happening on Friday, Sep 18. For more details on how to take part, click here.

If you don't know, now you know.

To catch the Party Girl, listen to her on OneFM's #1 Breakfast Show with Andre Hoeden, Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman.
