SINGAPORE - The Nee Soon South Citizens' Consultative Committee unveiled on Dec 11, Singapore Pioneers Live, an unprecedented 'Xin Yao' countdown party to usher in 2014 and celebrate the Singapore Story.

The event is jointly-produced with TCR Music Station, and will feature popular young and veteran singers Shi Xin Hui, Loi Fey Huei, Pan Ying, Hong Shao Xua, Deng Shu Xian, Cavin Soh and Ric Liu. The concert will be hosted by radio deejays Cai Lilian and Sheng An, and will include Malay and Indian acts such as Aisyah Salim and Gayetri Joshi.

Audiences can expect familiar folk tunes that are unique to Singapore and a special sing-along segment during the 270-minute celebration. Another highlight of the event will be a five-minute long fireworks display.
