Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron to visit Singapore for The Huntsman: Winter's War premiere

SINGAPORE - Fans of Chris Hemsworth: Sit tight! He will be in town, together with co-stars Charlize Theron and Jessica Chastain for the fan premiere of The Huntsman: Winter's War on April 3.

The movie stars, who are part of the film's main cast along with Emily Blunt, will be gracing the red carpet at the Pentages Hollywood Theater at Universal Studios Singapore in Resorts World Sentosa, according to a statement from United International Pictures.

Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, The Huntsman: Winter's War is a prequel to Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), where Oscar winner Theron starred as the evil queen Ravenna and Hemsworth played the titular Huntsman named Eric.

The prequel, which will be in cinemas on April 14, tells the story of how Ravenna destroys her relationship with her sister Freya (Blunt) by betraying her, causing Freya to develop a very icy power that she uses to try and defeat her sister.

She raises an army of Huntsmen, including Eric and Sara (Chastain), to aid her in her quest, resulting in an all-out war for domination.

In honour of the film, the theatre will also be transformed into an ice palace to replicate Freya's empire.
