David Bowie's supermodel-wife Iman reveals records she would dance to

The wife of English singer-songwriter David Bowie, Iman Abdulmajid, recounted her late husband's most iconic moments in the days leading to his death by posting online several old pictures of the singer.

The 60-year-old Somali-born supermodel took to social media to pay tribute to him. On Jan 10, she posted on her Twitter page a heartfelt message that read: "The struggle is real, but so is God."

In another tweet posted the day before, she wrote: "Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory."

The tweets came after re-posts of birthday messages dedicated to Bowie on Jan 8. Iman also posted these messages on her Instagram page.

According to the International Business Times, Abdulmajid revealed that her 15-year-old daughter, Alexandria Zahra Jones, would dance along with her to Bowie's hit songs Heroes and Suffragette City.

Bowie died after an 18-month battle with cancer on Sunday (Jan 10), two days after celebrating his 69th birthday.

In an interview with supermodel Naomi Campbell for Interview Magazine, Iman revealed that Bowie and her shied away from publicity. She said: "We are very private so we decided from early on that we will keep the press and editors and everybody out of our house."
