Days before Chester Bennington's death, Linkin Park shot 'Carpool Karaoke' episode

Just less than a week prior to Chester Bennington's tragic death, Linkin Park shot an episode for the Apple spinoff of the popular "Carpool Karaoke" series.

A group photo featuring the lead singer, Joe Hahn, actor Ken Jeong, and Mike Shinoda was on the band's Twitter account in July 15, 2017.

Apple Music produced the show inspired by James Corden's hit sketch in his comedy show, "The Late Late Show".

According to executive producer Ben Winston, the episode was set to air in August 8. There is no news if this will push through as the group cancelled their North American tour.

Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington found dead at home in apparent suicide

After the frontman's suicide in July 20, 2017, the band also launched a website for Bennington, chester.linkinpark.com.

It contains contact details to the Suicide Prevention Lifeline and the Crisis Text Line in the United States, as well as resources for those outside the US It also collates tweets containing the hashtag #RIPChester.
