SINGAPORE - Taiwanese pop singer Elva Hsiao and American rock star Chris Daughtry are set to perform at Ion Orchard's fashion concert at 7pm tomorrow.
The free event will be held at the mall's outdoor atrium as part of its fifth anniversary celebrations.
Apart from the music, the audience will be treated to a runway show featuring the latest fashion pieces from brands such as Guess, Hugo Boss and Zara.
Ion Orchard also held a charity auction this evening, which saw Hsiao and Daughtry putting the finishing touches on a painting from the Singapore Association for Mental Health.
Proceeds from the auction of the painting will go towards helping more than 300,000 people in need under the care of Community Chest, Ion Orchard said in a statement.
Other special activities planned to mark the mall's fifth birthday include the Ion Art Photography Series, which will showcase a solo exhibition by Singaporean performing arts photographer Tan Ngiap Heng. It will run from Oct 20 to Nov 2.
Shoppers can also look forward to attractive giveaways and promotions this month. The grand prize is a pair of return business class tickets to Los Angeles with exclusive passes to attend the music industry's most prestigious by-invitation-only award show in February.
