Ex-Victoria Secret model blasted for photo-shopped image

She is one of the most active models on Instagram.

Former Victoria's Secret supermodel Miranda Kerr has over 2.6 million followers on her account, where she posts personal pictures, behind-the-scenes images and professional shots almost every day.

But one such Instagram picture the 30-year-old posted on Wednesday drew more attention than usual for all the wrong reasons, Mail Online reported.

Fans have accused her of Photoshopping the picture to make her waist look slimmer.

The picture, taken backstage at last year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, shows her standing in the centre, flanked by models Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio.

This year, although Kerr was reportedly asked to walk in the show, she was unable to attend due to commitments in Asia. So she posted the year-old image with the caption: "Sending love and best wishes to the #vsangels from Japan xxx".

"Who is Miranda trying to fool with Photoshop?" a netizen asked.

"That is not her waist, this is the actual picture taken last year by Vogue of Alessandra, Doutzen and Miranda backstage," he wrote and posted a comparison between the original shot and the version posted on Kerr's Instagram.

Kerr, who was in the news recently after her split with Hollywood star Orlando Bloom, was quick to apologise for the gaffe, the report said.

On Friday, the mother of a two-yearold boy, admitted that the image was Photoshopped.

The catwalk star uploaded the original image with the caption: "When I reposted the photo this week to support the girls I screen-grabbed it off the Internet when I was working in Japan. I had no idea it was Photoshopped.

"All good intentions - sorry for the confusion and congratulations to the girls for such a great show!' Kerr has since deleted the picture from Instagram.
