Fan Bingbing's a Hugh fan

Fan Bingbing is a superstar in China. But that's not stopping the 32-year-old award-winning actress from going gaga over her favourite Hollywood stars, especially her X-Men: Days Of Future Past co-star Hugh Jackman.

Here's what the raven-haired beauty told us at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, last week.

1. ON SEEING JACKMAN NUDE

"To see Hugh (Jackman) as Wolverine on the set was a dream come true! He's so tall and muscular, which girl wouldn't be mesmerised?

I first watched Days Of Future Past at the New York premiere. My jaw dropped when I saw him nude on the big screen. It was such a pleasant surprise."

2. STARSTRUCK

"Being on the set with the original X-Men actors blew me away. I was so nervous on my first day, Hugh had to tell me to relax. I was very impressed by their attitude. They were so professional and they really love their roles.

They were also very kind and protective towards me, perhaps because I was the only Asian on set."

3. FITTING IN

"On the first day of fitting, I couldn't zip myself up. There was this big gap! The costume designer was very kind and offered to resize the costume. I told her no and asked her to give me a month, and I'll fit into it.

Back in Beijing, I put myself through a crazy workout regime. I jogged for two hours every day on top of my 12-hour filming schedule. I also did 200 sit-ups a day.

When I went back to LA at the end of the month, the costume fit me. They even had to take it in a little!"

4. ONE HALLE OF A GIRL

"I was really impressed by Halle Berry (Storm). She was about four to five months pregnant and was doing all her own stunts.

She didn't want a stunt double, and most of the time she was hanging from a wire-harness a few metres above ground. We were all so worried for her but she was so cool about it."

5. ASIA ROCKS

"Hollywood is a well-oiled machine. Everyone is very professional and experienced. Asian film-makers may be young and not get Hollywood budgets, but we are very creative. For instance, I watched Ilo Ilo - it was very good and heartwarming. You don't see a lot of such films from Hollywood. "
