He studied at the famous Juilliard School, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drama. So fancy. He's a seasoned theatre actor, having performed professionally since high school, and he recently appeared on Broadway in The Normal Heart.
2 FANTASY MAN
Pace's two most high-profile roles to date have been in the fantasy flicks The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. In the former, he plays sexy rocker vampire Garrett and in the latter he is regal elf king Thranduil. Standing at 1.91m tall, the finefeatured actor is perfect for playing otherworldly types.

Appearing in The Hobbit means that Pace will forever have a place in the hearts of Middle-earth fans. So far, he is enjoying the ride. "Every once in a while my dad will send me some of the art that fans have done online," he said. "I saw some of the really great artwork that some of the fans have done about my character, and it's really cool."
4 PUSHED DAISIES
Before he broke into movies, Pace starred in the Emmy-winning TV show Pushing Daisies, playing a guy who could bring the dead back to life and who also solved crimes. Hardcore fans of the show were distraught it lasted only two seasons.
5 TORMENTOR OF GUARDIANS
You can expect Pace to be an even bigger hit after he appears in the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy, another potential juggernaut from Marvel, as bad guy Ronan the Accuser. "Ronan is a real psychopathic beast," said Pace. "I'm having the best time playing it."
