Future Music Festival Asia cancelled, full ticket refunds to be made

SINGAPORE - The organisers of Future Music Festival Asia 2015, originally planned for Friday and Saturday (March 13 and 14), have said that the event will be cancelled.

The organisers have been twice denied a licence for the event. They appealed the Minister of Home Affairs on March 3, but was rejected too, The Straits Times reported.

The organisers said in a statement on Sunday (March 8) that full ticket refunds will be made to all ticket buyers, and the details will be made available by Monday evening.

They also apologised for the inconvenience caused to fans who had made plans to travel to Singapore for the event.

"We are also aware of the many fans overseas that have made travel arrangements into Singapore for the festival. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience you've been put through."

"At the moment, we have also set up a care team to help answer your concerns directly. Our care team can be reached at support@futuremusicfestival.asia."
