Get ready to party at Singapore Entertainment Awards 2014 Celebration Party!

SINGAPORE - The Singapore Entertainment Awards (SEA) 2014 culminated on Saturday, May 17, with a special Celebration Party featuring some of the top entertainment movers and shakers at The Coliseum™, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore®, Resorts World Sentosa.

For the sixth year running, the SEA is organised by Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH) and fronted by SPH's leading Chinese entertainment media platforms Lianhe Wanbao, UFM 100.3, omy.sg and U-Weekly. The SEA serves to honour the best talents and the movers and shakers of the Asian entertainment scene in the past year.

Making their appearance at the star-studded celebration party are some of the hottest names today. Headlining the show is Henry from Korean pop group Super Junior-M who launched his career as a solo artist in 2013. Other stars include Alien Huang, Jia Jia, Lollipop@F (Taiwan); Ruco Chan (Hong Kong); Issac Dang (Malaysia) as well as Ling Kai and Budak Pantai (Singapore).

The winners of the "Most Popular" and "Best" categories for SEA 2014 were announced earlier. A total of 2.95 million votes were received online and via SMS during the voting period from 27 February to 9 April. In addition to the "Most Popular" awards, a panel of judges comprising SPH journalists from print, radio and online media, together with local and foreign media industry experts, has picked the winners in the "Best" categories. The complete list of winners is attached in Appendix 1.

In addition, there are five prestigious SPH Media awards to be given out this year; namely the Concert of the Year, Best New Artiste (Male), Best New Artiste (Female), Outstanding Achievement Award (Music). The winner for the fifth award, Asia's Rising Star, will only be announced at the Celebration Party.

Entry passes to the Singapore Entertainment Awards Celebration Party are not for sale. Members of the public stand a chance to win a pair of entry passes by downloading iAPPS' mobile applications, sParks and ActiveSG. They can also receive a pair of entry passes with purchases via honeybay.com and at dENiZEN stores.
