South Korean label Dream Tea Entertainment released a statement in regard to the controversy about Girl's Day's outfits in their latest music video teaser.

"The swimsuit fashion is just a concept to portray the cool summer in the video," the statement said on Saturday, attempting to allay fans' concerns.

"Girl's Day will not wear the swimsuits shown in the teaser onstage," it added.

The label's explanation came after controversy broke out over the swimsuits they wear in the music video, which some said were too suggestive to wear onstage.

Girl's Day is set to unveil their new album, along with its title track "Ring My Bell," on July 6.
