Guy Sebastian to perform at Resorts World Sentosa on June 30

SINGAPORE - Australian singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian will perform for the first time here on June 30 at Resorts World Sentosa's Waterfront Studio, as part of music series MTV Sessions.

Sebastian, whose latest single "Like a Drum" broke into the top 20 in the US Billboard Dance Club Song chart, will perform a selection of songs for the show.

From now till June 20, fans who wish to catch the live recording of Sebastian's exclusive showcase can visit www.mtvasia.com/mtvsessions to take part in an online contest to win passes.

Born in Malaysia and brought up in Adelaide, Sebastian rose to fame after he was crowned the first Australian Idol winner in 2003. He has since released seven consecutive multi-platinum albums and seven number one singles. Sebastian also judged Australia's The X Factor from 2010 to 2012.

"It's exciting for me to be part of MTV Sessions and perform in Singapore for the first time. I can't wait to hang out with my fans in the studio and just have a good time on stage!" said Sebastian.

MTV Sessions: Guy Sebastian will premiere here on MTV Asia on July 18 at 10pm.

Artists that have been featured on the show previously include James Morrison, Greyson Chance, Russian Red, Ming Bridges, and The Temper Trap.
