Hong Kong singer-songwriter G.E.M. will be performing in Singapore on Jan 31 as part of her X.X.X. Live World Tour.
The 23-year-old songstress, whose real name is Gloria Tang, is one of the highest-ranked female artistes in the second season of China's popular singing competition I Am A Singer, which pits professional singers against one another.
Her concert here, which will be held at The MAX Pavilion @ Singapore Expo, is her second solo concert to date. G.E.M. broke a venue record when she kicked off the world tour in Hong Kong last April, breaking a venue record by becoming the youngest-ever singer at the age of 21 to have held a total of 10 shows there.
The Cantopop singer's concert here is expected to feature a surreal steampunk-themed scene, along with a 70s party scene and a myriad of lighting effects.
In a bid to go green and reduce plastic wastage, G.E.M. has also launched a free mobile app, X.X.X. Live, which acts as a colour-changing glow stick for concertgoers to use.
Tickets to X.X.X. Live World Tour are priced between $128 and $248, and will go on sale at Sistic from tomorrow.
