Don't stop belieb-ing.
Singaporean Tia Yurika Rosman, 15, never thought she'd be able to watch Justin Bieber in a concert here, much less meet her idol in person.
On Monday night, she'll be doing both.
The secondary school student, who couldn't afford the $148 ticket price, won the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at Bieber Fest 2013 on Saturday at Bugis Junction. The event was organised by HOT FM91.3 and Universal Music.
The event saw hundreds of fans, both local and from overseas, do a mass dance with DJs Boy Thunder, Adam Piperdy and Joshua Simon, as well as participate in various games and a lucky draw to win limited edition Bieber goodies and tickets to his concert at the Padang tonight as part of the 2013 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix.
After winning the last of four meet-and-greet passes being given away by tweeting a contest hashtag frantically on her iPhone which was running out of battery power, Tia was a shaking, crying mess for two hours.
Tia, who revealed she was bullied when she started secondary school, said meeting the 19-year-old Canadian pop star means "everything" to her.
"Every time I feel like giving up on something, he teaches me to believe.
