Veteran Hong Kong movie star Jackie Chan is no stranger to scandals and rumours.
Last year, he got tongues wagging when he said he would not leave a single cent to his love child Etta Ng.
The girl, 14, was born after his affair with Hong Kong actress Elaine Ng was exposed in 1999.
More recently, the 59-year-old's name was in the headlines when former Japanese actress Aki Mizusawa, 60, opened up about her love affair with him in the early 1980s.
The former sexpot said she interviewed Chan on assignment in Spain, and they fell in love shortly after.
The pair reportedly dated for about a year - though Chan was already married to Taiwanese actress Joan Lin and had son Jaycee at that time.
Chan, who was in town Tuesday to promote his movie Police Story 2013, spoke to The New Paper at Marina Bay Sands.
In this latest instalment of his Police Story film series, which opens here on Tuesday, he plays a police officer who tries to save bar patrons when they are held hostage by the bar owner.
Chan has several projects lined up next year, including a Hollywood film which he says has a plot similar to that of the 2008 Liam Neeson thriller Taken.
A candid Chan, who has a knack for putting his foot in his mouth, added without prompting: "I have so many scandals and rumours. They don't affect me."
