James Franco grins after Hollywood pals insult him

UNITES STATES - He was roundly insulted by his Hollywood pals, but walked out of Sunday night's event with a smile.

From his Oscar hosting performance to the sexuality of his on-screen characters and even to his 92-year-old grandmother, US actor James Franco, 35, was roasted by comedians like Seth Rogen, Sarah Silverman, Andy Samberg, Nick Kroll and Jonah Hill as the group filmed the Comedy Central Roast of James Franco at Culver Studios in Los Angeles.

"It didn't hurt," Franco said after the show. "If you're going to do this kind of thing, you should just be ready for whatever. It's not like I haven't heard criticism about my performance in the Oscars. Or jokes about my choice of gay roles. I feel great and I feel everyone was awesome."
