Jennifer Lopez to perform during F1 on Sept 21 at Padang

The newly single 44-year old has been kept busy since her split from dancer Casper Smart, 27, last month: She performed at the World Cup opening ceremony in Sao Paolo last month, singing the official song We Are One with rapper Pitbull and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte, and also released her eighth album, A.K.A.

Race promoter Singapore GP Pte Ltd announced today that global icon Jennifer Lopez will headline the Padang Stage at the 2014 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, September 21, 2014.

Access to the electrifying post-race performance at Singapore's biggest outdoor stage is included with any three-day 2014 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix ticket, Sunday single-day Pit Grandstand special ticket or the Sunday single-day Zone 4 Walkabout ticket.

Lopez has been transforming the global music scene since her first album On the 6 and continues to do so with her newly released 10th album A.K.A which includes the hits "I Luh Ya Papi" and "First Love".

Her music achievements include winning three American Music Awards, three ASCAP Pop Music Awards, eight Billboard Latin Music Awards, and two MTV Video Music Awards. This two- time Grammy nominee recently became the first woman to receive the lifetime achievement Icon Award at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards for outstanding contribution to pop music.

The American Idol judge recently collaborated with Pitbull for "We Are One (Ole, Ola)", the official song of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and performed at the Opening Ceremony in Brazil.

Jennifer Lopez completes the line-up of headliners at the Marina Bay Street Circuit this September, which includes fellow Padang stage headliners Mayday (Friday) and Robbie Williams (Saturday) as well as Zone 1 Village stage performers Ziggy Marley (Saturday), Pet Shop Boys (Saturday), and John Legend (Sunday).
