Chorong of K-pop girl group Apink apologised on the group's official fan club website for a mistake in writing a message of condolence about the recent terrorist attack in Paris.

She initially wrote as "'Play' for Paris" instead of "'Pray' for Paris" on Saturday.

"I sincerely apologise for my thoughtless mistake. I meant to convey my dear condolences toward Paris, but even I don't understand why I made that kind of typo," said Chorong on Sunday. "I noticed my mistake after receiving a message from my friend. I will be more careful from now on."

She immediately edited her message after the sudden controversy.

A recent terrorism attack in Paris resulted in more than 100 casualties.
