The upcoming film "Real," starring hotshot actor Kim Soo-hyun, is set to hold an open audition for its female lead role from July 13-24.
The film's producer said that it will select two female leads through an open audition. The two selected actresses will take the roles opposite Kim Soo-hyun in the film.
The female characters are supposed to be in their mid to late 20s. Both rookie and established actresses can apply for the audition.
The contestants who have passed the screening will be called for the audition.
"Real" is a thriller flick that tells the story of Jang Tae-young (Kim Soo-hyun), an ambitious yet ruthless man able to solve any problem for his clients.
The action-thriller film helmed by Lee Jung-seop, will mark Kim's comeback to the big screen three years after his last film "Secretly, Greatly" in 2013, with the exception of his cameo appearance in the 2014 film "Miss Granny."
Kim, 27, recently appeared on the SBS TV drama series "The Producers," which told the story of producers and the entertainment division of a broadcasting company. The series concluded on June 20.
Anyone interested in the audition can apply online through the company's official website. "Real" is slated for release in the second half of next year.
