What does A-lister Jennifer Lawrence have in common with her on-screen The Hunger Games character Katniss Everdeen?
For one, alienation is a common feeling between the two.
Lawrence, 23, told Empire magazine in a recent interview: "There is the connection in that (Katniss) doesn't feel like just part of the town any more.
Now everyone treats her as a celebrity... Whereas she still feels like she's part of them."
Much like her alter-ego, the young actress became a celebrity when she landed a role in The Hunger Games franchise, and went on to star in Silver Linings Playbook opposite Bradley Cooper, winning an Oscar in the process.
Despite her sudden fame, she is known for being humble and down-to-earth.
She had previously told Fabulous magazine: "I just constantly feel so lucky, that I don't really have time to feel cocky."
I was raised to have value for money, to have respect for money, even though you have a lot of it."
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens here on Nov 21
