Actor Lee Min-ho successfully finished his fan meeting in Guangzhou, China.

The fan meeting "RE:MINHO" was held on Sunday at Guangzhou International Sports Arena. More than 7,000 fans crowded the concert hall to meet the rising Hallyu star.

During the fan meeting, Lee sang 12 songs for his fans, including all of the tracks in his recently released album "Song for You."

According to Lee's agency, the actor's Chinese fans also showed modest fandom during his visit. They held each other's hands and made a barricade to ensure the safety of the star's other fans at the airport.

The action seemed to be in consideration of Lee's concern for about his fans' safety during his entry into the airport.

Instead of crowding over Lee, the fans welcomed the actor at the airport by singing the song 'Qing Fei De Yi,' the song he sang at the Chinese broadcaster CCTV's New Year's Day special programme.

Lee's participation in the special programme had gained attention for getting 700 million viewers.

During the concert, he asked his fans to recommend one of Guangzhou's famous dishes for him to try. After getting recommendations, Lee posted pictures of him actually trying the dish via his SNS account and received a great reaction from fans.

"Lee always tries to communicate with his fans and cherish the memories he has with them. I believe these qualities make him one of the most popular stars in China," a spokesperson for the actor was quoted as saying.

Lee recently finished filming his first lead-role movie "Gangnam 1970" and will continue his Asian fan meeting.

The movie is to be released in January.
