The still photos of actor Lee Min-ho in his latest film "Gangnam 1970" were released on Wednesday, heralding the November launch of the action noir film.
In the photos, the Korean heartthrob is dressed in a black suit and white shirt, the classic dress code for high-profile Korean gangsters. In one of the two photos, Lee is clenching his fist to beat up another man.
The still cuts show that Lee's role in "Gangnam 1970" will pose a sharp contrast to the gorgeous, caring roles he played in previous television rom-com drams, such as "The Heirs (2013)" and "Boys Over Flowers (2009)."
Costarring Lee Min-ho and Kim Rae-won, "Gangnam 1970" portrays the two men's desire for money and friendship in Gangnam, Seoul, in the 1970s when the region began undergoing a historical real estate investment period.
