Put stars Zhang Ziyi and Wang Leehom together in the same interview and things quickly turn into a mushy lovefest.
At a recent press junket, the two could not stop gushing about each other.
Zhang, 34, was especially floored by her co-star in their new movie, My Lucky Star, admiring his "handsome face" and "perfect personality" and calling him the "ideal man".
Taking in her praises with a smile, Wang, 37, thanked her, then eagerly dished out compliments about her "wonderful comedic timing" and "versatile acting abilities".
Both stars were clearly in a good mood while promoting their romantic comedy in Singapore.
The movie features many scenes shot on location at the Marina Bay Sands hotel. Zhang said with a laugh: "Everyone will want to soak in the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark infinity pool now, because that is where Leehom swam in."
She added that filming in Singapore was "so much fun" and "with the good food, good weather and nice people, the whole experience was really relaxing".
One would have found it hard to believe that each has had to deal with some unpleasantness of late. Earlier this year, Wang took to Weibo to fend off persistent rumours of a gay relationship with classical pianist Li Yundi, 30. Soon after, he reportedly slapped magician Lu Chen, 37, backstage at Lu's show, allegedly furious that Lu had joked about Wang to Li during the show.
And a few days before this interview, Zhang had reportedly broken up with her boyfriend, popular CCTV host Sa Beining, 37.
