What a fun idea for a movie.
Elijah Wood stars as Tom Selznick, the world's greatest pianist.
After making an embarrassing flub at a concert a few years ago, he's making his big comeback.
During the show, he opens his sheet music only to find a threat against his life.
If he makes one mistake during his performance, he will be killed.
So most of the movie takes place during a single concert, and most of the action is set on one stage.
One of the really cool things is that the music being performed doubles as the soundtrack.
It's an audacious idea and it's executed very well.
Definitely a classy-looking and suspenseful thriller.
