Movie pick: Oldboy

Movie pick: Oldboy

I tend to like R21 movies because there's more of a sense that ANYTHING could happen.

In Oldboy, Spike Lee's remake of the 2003 cult Korean flick, things get nasty quickly and climaxes with a supreme bit of nastiness.

The superb Josh Brolin stars as Joe Doucett, an advertising douchebag.

He is held prisoner for 20 years by some anonymous enemy, and after he is released, he sets out for revenge. Along the way, he hooks up with a beautiful medical student played by Elizabeth Olsen.
