Movie Review: Homefront (M18)

This is one of the better action movies you will see this year.
It is bonkers, but big fun.
Jason Statham plays an undercover cop who decides to lie low in a small town with his daughter after his cover is blown.
He winds up feuding with a white-trash hellion (Kate Bosworth), who sends her crazy meth-dealing brother (James Franco) to get revenge.
The cast, as you might have noticed, is over-qualified for this sort of thing, and it is super-fun seeing Franco in particular in a role like this.
As a bonus, Winona Ryder plays his girlfriend!
The script was written by Sylvester Stallone, which might sound weird unless you are already aware of the fact that he writes tons of stuff.
This flick is absolutely gripping and the action is intense.
