Movie review: Horns

Movie review: Horns

Daniel Radcliffe plays Ig (complete with a decent American accent); who is suspected of murdering his girlfriend and is hated by the whole town when he wakes up to find he has sprouted horns.

With the new head gear comes some lightly demonic abilities - ones I wish we saw more of.

People start revealing their darkest secrets to him. Or in some cases, he simply tells them what to do.

The plot demands he use his powers to find the real murderer. But it would have been more fun if he had taken the time to take revenge on his accusers.

In other words, there needed to be more relish with his retribution. Plus, Radcliffe plays it a touch too benign.

But those are small problems.

It's still a cool little date movie for the Halloween weekend.
