Movie review: Rockin' on Heaven's Door

A korean drama-comedy starring K-pop boy band FT Island's lead singer Lee Hong Gi, Rockin' On Heaven's Door is a movie that will leave you in tears.

Lee portrays troublemaker and K-pop idol Chung-Ui, who has to do community service in a hospice ward.

His poor attitude changes as he hears the touching stories behind each terminally ill patient's life and starts to bond with them.

He ends up helping a group of patients audition for a rock band competition to raise money and save the hospice from being shut down. Lee's performance in his movie debut is brilliant. He's convincing as a bad-boy-turned-good.

Known for his strong vocals, Lee puts them to good use in the movie as he also sings the songs Jump and Goodbye. With a touching plot and natural acting by its cast, this Korean tear-jerker is a must-watch.
