LEA MICHELE — BATTLEFIELD

RICK ROSS FEATURING JAY-Z — THE DEVIL IS A LIE

Over an ominous-sounding horn sample, US rappers Rick Ross and Jay-Z engage in a rap battle that takes them from Dubai to Bourdeaux and Brooklyn, from Walmart to Barneys, talking about topics ranging from religion to the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. SAM BAILEY — SKYSCRAPER

Most covers cannot live up to the original, but reality TV singing series The X Factor UK’s newly-crowned winner Sam Bailey gives US singer Demi Lovato a run for her money with her rendition of the latter’s Skyscraper.
