CHANDELIER - SIA

The problem with the Australian singer-songwriter's latest clip is that it's so good that you don't pay attention to the song, which sounds like a Rihanna song if Rihanna were white.

It stars an 11-year-old dancer, Maddie Ziegler, from the reality TV show Dance Moms, and she's unbelievable.

They've dressed her up like Pris from Blade Runner and then cut her loose in a dilapidated block of flats. Half dancer, half acrobat, half android, half fairy - she's got four halves - little Maddie moves with startling strength and grace. Five-star premium vid.

WEST COAST - LANA DEL REY

I've never been sure what to think of Del Rey beyond the fact that it looks like she likes David Lynch movies and her songs sound like they should be in David Lynch movies.

The US singer's West Coast is reminiscent of a Lynch movie, but not nearly as masterly.

She wanders around a beach with some rockers, and then drives around in a convertible with a creepy old weirdo. It's all in black and white until the end when she is engulfed in flames. Ouch! But of course she's impervious to flames - she's Lana Del Rey!

ALL MY FRIENDS ARE DEAD - SEBASTIAN BACH

Bach doesn't seem sad that all his friends are dead, just kind of annoyed. That's his prerogative!

This is a great hair metal song and if he'd come out with this 30 years ago with his former band Skid Row, they could have been a lot bigger.

The video sees the Canadian rocker lip-synching in an alley with his new group. Someone has hung a skeleton up on a fence behind the drummer. Bonus points for ex-Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan's cameo.
