New actress Chacha Maembong denied talk that she lacked discipline and manners during film shoots, reported Berita Ahad.

"Claims of me throwing bags around, complaining that costumes make me look fat on screen, yelling at people for misplacing my handphone and behaving like a diva are all untrue," said Chacha, 18, whose real name is Siti Aishah Ismail Embong.

"I know my weaknesses but I have never complained. In fact, I don't even mind being called fat because I am proud of my body the way it is," she said.

Chacha said she had no inkling how such rumours came about although she suspected that it could be the work of people who were envious of her.

The daily reported that Chacha had been filming Rombongan Cik Kiah ke Kelana Jaya when she received calls from reporters asking for her comments about such talk.

In early August, she was also rumoured to have hit an actor on the head by swinging her handbag while complaining about the clothes given to her on the set.

She said she remained unruffled by the gossip about her, saying that it had instead made her stronger.
