The New Paper's M-tertainment section goes online

The New Paper's (TNP)'s weekly entertainment section M is making a big splash online.

Yesterday, the English daily launched the digital version of M (tnp.sg/m).

The new site will feature all the sections in the print edition of M, as well as a new one.

For the Movies section, the M site will have interviews with film stars, the Mars vs Venus movie reviews and other features.

In the Music section, readers can expect stories about the hottest trends in Eastern and Western music, be it K-pop or R&B.

Foodies can look out for the Makan section, which has reviews and articles on cool restaurants, great hawker fare, as well as hip cafes and bars.

The new section on the M site, called More, will have exclusive articles covering topics such as television, technology, bikes, better living and fashion.

Said Jeanmarie Tan, editor of TNP's M section: "Since its launch in October 2013, the print version of M focused on delivering the best of the three Ms that matter - movies, music and makan - and has been enjoyed by our readers on a weekly basis.

"Now, you'll be getting an extra M - every single day. We are thrilled to bring M to a new crowd and reach a wider audience with this new platform."

Watch out, too, for the new mobile-friendly version of TNP's website (tnp.sg), which was also launched yesterday.

It features a new interface which makes it much easier to read the latest TNP articles on the go.
