New zombie TV series to show on Warner TV

A new television series, iZOMBIE, will feature on the new-look Warner TV (StarHub TV Channel 515) on Sunday, Mar 22 at 9pm.

The tongue-in-cheek series, from the creator of Veronica Mars, will be express from the US to Singapore, just four days after the US world premiere.

iZOMBIE tells the story of Liv Moore, an overachieving medical resident that becomes a zombie after attending a party that shockingly turned into a feeding frenzy. In order to survive, Liv must eat brains, which are relatively easy to obtain for her since she works at a coroner's office.

However, consuming brains comes with an interesting side effect - the ability to absorb the memories of the dead. Soon Liv begins having visions about those whose brains she's eaten, visions that allow her to help the police solve murder cases.

iZOMBIE, based on DC Comics' property of the same name stars front-liners, Rose McIver (Once Upon A Time) as Liv Moore, Malcolm Goodwin (Breakout Kings) as Clive Babineaux, newcomer Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Robert Buckley (One Tree Hill) as Major Lilywhite and David Anders (Once Upon A Time and The Vampire Diaries) as Blaine DeBeers.

Taking a refreshing and comedic spin to other 'zombie-themed' series, iZOMBIE exists in a universe where all other zombie movies and TV shows are present. With this, Liv does her best to blend in and look as human as possible - even renting zombie movies to get a better handle of her condition.

iZOMBIE is just one of Warner TV's many express action series, dramas and comedies, available in Singapore in the same week as the US. The show is an example of Warner TV's younger and fresher new look that was unveiled on March 15. Along with a new logo and new programming, the channel also has a captivating new tagline "Get Into It".
