One Direction to hold concert in S'pore next year

Boyband One Direction will be bringing their On Their Road Again Tour to Singapore for the very first time to the new National Stadium on March 11, 2015.

The English-Irish pop band, made up of five members: Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, are known for their award-winning debut single What Makes You Beautiful. Their #28 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States marked the highest debut from a British group since the Spice Girls in 1998.

The group recently embarked on the South American leg of their worldwide Where We Are stadium tour, hitting stadiums in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe and North America next.

Tickets to One Direction's concert next year are priced between $88 and $388, and will be available from June 11 at Sports Hub. Visit www.sportshubtix.sg.
