Peh: Icy when asked about ex-beau Tonelli

Singapore-based US DJ-actor Bobby Tonelli has moved on.

Following his shocking public break-up with MediaCorp actress Joanne Peh, 30, earlier this year, Tonelli, 38, revealed in a recent interview with a local magazine that he has found love again.

He said: "It's been a good five months now. She's not from showbiz. She's Indonesian, but raised in Singapore. Okay, that's all I'll reveal. I hope this one works out."

He said that he hadn't spoke to Peh since the split.

Peh, who dated Tonelli for four years and has just been named the new celebrity spokesman for Bella Skin Care, spoke about him and her current beau, actor Qi Yuwu, on Wednesday after the media event.

She reserved her best frozen smile and nonchalance for questions on Tonelli, but warmed up slightly when it came to Qi.

ON THE EX-BOYFRIEND:

How do you feel about Bobby having a new girlfriend now? Do you feel happy for him?

"I haven't read the article, so I cannot comment."

But now that I'm telling you he is attached, how do you feel? "I didn't read the article, so I have no comments."

He said in the article that he'd say hi if he bumped into you. Would you do the same?

"Well, I'll tell you when that happens." So I guess you haven't run into him yet? "Evidently not."

ON HER NEW LOVE:

Would you bring Qi along for facial treatments at Bella Skin Care?

"He takes good care of himself and his skin. I don't think he will be resistant to such treatments."

He's expanding his career in China. Have you also thought of venturing into China?

"I wouldn't mind working in China if there are opportunities. If going to China means I get to spend more time with him, I'll go too."

Have both of you discussed settling down yet?

"I've always been transparent with the media. If we have good news, we will share with everyone. Honestly, we are both so busy that we don't have enough time to talk about such things yet." Are the two of you planning any year-end vacation together?

"We have no time to go on any vacation. I have back-to-back filming for my TV dramas. If I can get just one day off to spend with him, that'll be good enough."
