Posh finale

Singapore Fashion Week 2015 came to a resounding end last night with British designer Victoria Beckham (waving) closing the extravaganza.

She was presented with flowers by Ms Paige Parker (in white dress), an advisory board member for the event.

Her show featured turtleneck dresses, skirts with a swing to them and sculptural coats, and her autumn/winter collection was anchored in comfort without compromising on sex appeal and sophistication.

Beckham, who was part of the popular 1990s pop group Spice Girls, is also in town for a private launch of her nail polish tie-up with British brand Nails Inc tomorrow.

This year's Singapore Fashion Week, which started last Wednesday, also featured other international designers.

The big names included Diane von Furstenberg, Dion Lee and Thakoon Panichgul.

Local labels, such as Ong Shunmugam, Elohim by Sabrina Goh and Dzojchen, also had their share of the limelight during the five-day event organised by Mercury Marketing and Communications. More than 12,500 people turned up for the event this year.
