TAIWAN-BASED Malaysian singer Fish Leong will stop accepting new jobs for the time being, Guang Ming Daily reported.
Her manager said the 35-year-old singer would be taking leave to focus on her pregnancy after completing all her current stints.
China Press reported that Leong's mother had gone to Taiwan to look after her.
Leong's cousin Z-Chen, who is also a singer, jokingly said he had prepared to be Leong's "maid" during her pregnancy.
"I learnt about the good news a month ago. I am happy for her," he added.
The daily reported that Leong and her Taiwanese businessman husband, Tony Zhao, were trying for a baby so Leong had been cutting down her jobs since October last year.
