Quan Yifeng responds to Peter Yu's plea for forgiveness

Her ex-husband Peter Yu's tearful plea for forgiveness on television left Quan Yifeng cold.

The 39-year-old TV host told the local Chinese press that she did not catch the episode of Channel 8 documentary Tuesday Report that featured Yu.

Instead, the Taiwanese-born MediaCorp artist celebrated her daughter, Kaixin's 14th birthday at home with Kaixin's godfather, celebrity hairstylist Addy Lee, and other close friends.

Her daughter also reportedly said she wants to take Lee's surname as her own.

The episode about actor-turned-taxi driver Yu, 45, aired on Tuesday night.

Quan and Yu divorced in 2008 after a tumultuous 10-year marriage, reported the Chinese press.

According to Lee, Yu was a gambler who depleted Quan's savings. In the past four years, Yu reportedly did not pay Quan alimony.

She has reacted to Yu's television appearance in her replies to reporters and post on her Facebook page:

1 HER FEELINGS TOWARDS HER EX

"I do not blame him, I have no grouses, I have already forgotten him. I wish him all the best."

2 ON HER "EMOTIONLESS" REACTION TOWARDS YU'S PUBLIC APOLOGY

"Other people can say whatever they want, it is their problem. I just want to watch my heart, guard my mouth, and mind my own business."

3 HER ZEN-LIKE FACEBOOK POST AFTER YU'S TV APPEARANCE

"Being merciful means not fighting, being wise means not arguing... Forgiving gives me a sense of release, being grateful means letting go."

4 ON DAUGHTER TAKING ADDY LEE'S SURNAME

"Haha, I don't know when this little demon (affectionate term for Kaixin) decided to change her surname, it could be a few months back. It's her own intention and I respect her decision. I will help her with the (legal paperwork)."
