SINGAPORE - Fans of the Divergent trilogy can relive the teen adventure saga at an upcoming movie marathon at Golden Village this week.
The cinema is hosting The Divergent Marathon on Wednesday. It will be screening part one of the series, Divergent, followed by the second installation The Divergent Series: Insurgent, one day before its official release this Thursday.
Released in March last year, Divergent follows Beatrice Prior (Shailene Woodley), nicknamed Tris, who is a "divergent", multi-skilled person living in a post-apocalyptic Chicago where anyone threatening to exercise independent will is removed.
The marathon starts at 7pm at GV Jurong Point, GV Plaza, GV Yishun and GV Katong, and at 4pm at GV Bishan.
