Rihanna ditches glamour for jeans and T-shirt at VMAs

No performance, no presenting duties, no red carpet appearance and... no glamorous outfit?

Flying completely under the radar, Barbadian pop star Rihanna seems to have tired of the limelight as she quietly attended the recent MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night completely under-dressed.

She wore jeans and an MC Lyte T-shirt from her River Island collection, and accessorised herself with a mini cross grill on her front teeth.

The 25-year-old skipped the red carpet entirely, leaving music divas Katy Perry, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift to lap up all the attention. Instead, she headed straight inside the venue, where she posed for pictures with fellow attendees like Hollywood actor Will Smith.
