RiSe dies days after road crash

SEOUL - A second member of the K-pop group Ladies' Code died yesterday. RiSe, whose real name is Kwon Ri Sae, failed to recover from the car accident last week that claimed the life of group member EunB.

The 23-year-old Kwon had suffered a severe head injury after the van that she and the rest of the five-member group were travelling in skidded off the road in bad weather and crashed into a guard rail early on Wednesday morning.

EunB, whose real name is Koh Eun Bi, died shortly after the accident at the age of 22. The remaining three members suffered injuries, but none were deemed serious.

"RiSe passed away today around 10.10am. Her parents and officials from her agency were by her deathbed," said Polaris Entertainment, Ladies' Code's agency. "We are truly sorry and grief-stricken by this tragedy."
