Is sex blog just a stunt?

SOUTH KOREA - She was a nobody in South Korea.

But little-known adult theatre actress Lee Yoo Rin became the most-searched name on Internet search engines soon after she blogged about her sexual fantasies earlier this month.

And not just with any guy, but a famous one at that - K-pop boy band Block B member, Jaehyo, who's 23.

Lee had written: "Once in a while, I have these thoughts. I want to have a one-night stand with Block B's Jaehyo. Good-looking men make me happy.

"Would I be able to meet this type of men if I become famous?"

She added: "Whether I'm just having a crush on Jaehyo or thinking about wanting to have sex with him, it doesn't matter. It's not like I'm stalking him."

The post went viral and caused a controversy online, which led to Lee being attacked by netizens, some of whom called her a "stalker" and accused her of sexual harassment towards their favourite idol.

Lee issued an apology on her blog on Monday, saying: "My feelings for the celebrity I like seemed to have affected him and his fans, so I apologise if I have hurt anyone.

"I never knew it would become such a huge issue, since I'm just an unknown theatre actress."

She added: "All I said was that I like a celebrity... It was never my intention to hurt anyone."

However, it seems that Jaehyo has already been hurt by Lee's supposedly harmless post as Block B's agency released a statement on Monday addressing the issue after her apology.

The statement said: "Jaehyo read her message and was very taken aback. He said that while he feels sorry for her, he doesn't know who she is at all.

"We regard the comment as sexual harassment, but do not know what course of action to take.

"We are thinking of taking legal action. We believe she is using Jaehyo to gain publicity in the theatre scene."

Not the first time 

This is not the first time Lee has name-dropped popular male K-pop stars in a sexually explicit way.

In May, she blogged about 22-year-old Minho of K-pop boy band Shinee: "Your charismatic appearance makes me excited. I want to kiss your lips and be hugged by you.

"I want to have sex with a man like this. Well, it is just part of my imagination."

In August, boy band B1A4's leader Jinyoung, 21, was not spared too.

Lee wrote: "Jinyoung is cute. I love you. I want to kiss you."

Ms Rachel Lim, a local fan of Shinee and Block B, is disgusted with Lee's posts.

The 22-year-old undergraduate said: "I think it is fine to have a crush on your idols, but her posts are lewd and explicit. I feel that she is making use of the idols to gain publicity for herself. It's disgusting."

Her previous antics

This is not the first time that Lee Yoo Rin has raised eyebrows:

1. During a live theatre performance on stage, she caused a stir when she suddenly undressed her male co-star in an intimate scene when it was not part of the script.

2. Lee's suicidal thoughts on her blog recently drew eyeballs, when she wrote that she wanted to end her life after her ex-boyfriend dumped her for being an adult actress in live plays.
