Solange Knowles' digital sales up after Jay Z scuffle

Following her now-infamous bust-up with brother-in-law Jay Z, US singer Solange Knowles saw a boost in sales of her digital tracks.

Surveillance footage emerged earlier this month showing US pop star Beyonce's 27-year-old sister lashing out at the US rapper as they left a Met Gala party, kicking him and punching him.

According to Nielsen SoundScan data for the week ending May 18, Knowles' digital sales were at 2,000 downloads, up from 600 the previous week - proving that all press is good press.
