Taipei - Movie idol Wu Chun has revealed that he wed in 2009, had a daughter the next year and is having a son this month.
He shared all that at his press conference for his book Ignite Courage on Wednesday, and one day after he said on his blog that he is a dad, reported NetEase news portal.
He said his second child would arrive soon, and be a Libra like his first child. He bowed to the press in apology, said the report.
For years, the former Fahrenheit singer said he had been single since splitting up with his first girlfriend, whom he dated at age 16.
Actually, they did not break up and through the years, he denied several stories about their engagement and marriage.
In June 2011, Next Magazine said he was married and had a daughter.
Wu, who rebutted the report then, said on Wednesday the magazine had photographed the wrong woman - his sister-in-law - and it had made his big brother unhappy.
He said that his family members are not public figures, and that he hopes the press can be understanding.
He added that he had been with his wife for 18 years, and they considered splitting up only once, in the first year.
Their relationship has been smooth and when they quarrel, they always make up before the day is over, he said.
He said he believed himself to be a good husband and dad, who puts his family first.
He said he had never cheated on his wife and he was just friends with his rumoured girlfriends, including S.H.E singer Ella Chen, who starred with him in the 2006 television show Hanazakarino Kimitachie.
Denying talk that he was making the revelations to sell his book, he said he would donate the royalties to charity.
