Stars and models at the CFDA Fashion Awards

The who's who in fashion came out to honour the best in the industry at the 2015 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards in New York on June 1.

Home to more than 400 designers, the CFDA is led by renowned veteran designer Diane von Furstenberg.

Among the stars gracing the red carpet, Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye West had all eyes on them as the couple made their first official public appearance since announcing they are expecting baby number two.

Hosted by British comedian James Corden, this year's show honoured New York based designer Betsey Johnson with its Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.

The New York based designer said she is beyond honoured to be recognised by the CFDA.

Another notable winner was singer Pharrell Williams, who was given the Fashion Icon trophy at the ceremony by fellow musician Kanye West.
