Stefanie Sun passes out after concert and has to be carried

Despite nursing a serious flu for two weeks, Stefanie Sun insisted on proceeding with her recent concert in Chongqing, China.

Apple Daily via Asianpopnews reports that on June 11, Stefanie revealed on her micro-blog that she had been down with a serious flu for five days. After resting for two weeks, she still had not recovered but insisted on going ahead with her show.

Stefanie performed more than thirty songs on stage, singing and dancing in front of 50,000 fans for three hours. When the concert was over, she reportedly fainted and had to be carried by a crew member.

A photo of her looking frail and being pushed in a wheelchair was circulated online. The Singaporean singer-songwriter was rushed to the hospital immediately after the concert.

Fans have expressed their concern for Stefanie and lauded her professionalism.

When her concert ended, Stefanie still interacted with fans on her micro-blog, "Chongqing, I have no voice now! Haha."

Her manager has assured fans that Stefanie is recovering and doing well.
